Mother’s Nest

Mother’s Nest is inspired by the unique physical and emotional needs of pregnant women during one of the most transformative periods of life. The design takes inspiration from the protective and nurturing concept of a nest, creating a supportive environment that responds to the changing conditions of the mother’s body. By combining comfort, care, and intelligent technology, the project redefines the sleeping experience as a tool for maternal wellbeing.

The concept of Mother’s Nest is based on creating an adaptive sleeping system designed specifically for pregnancy. Unlike conventional beds, the design integrates smart monitoring, temperature regulation, adjustable massage functions, and health-related sensors to respond to the user’s physical needs. The project aims to improve sleep quality by combining ergonomic support with personalized technological assistance.

The design process focused on identifying common challenges experienced during pregnancy, including discomfort, sleep disturbance, muscle tension, and changing body requirements. Through ergonomic studies and user-centered considerations, the bed was developed as an adaptive system that provides adjustable support and integrated functions. Each feature was designed to enhance comfort while maintaining simplicity and usability.

Mother’s Nest integrates intelligent technologies including temperature regulation, sleep health monitoring, adjustable massagers, and sensors for tracking vital indicators such as blood pressure and glucose levels. These features transform the bed from a passive product into an active wellness system, supporting both maternal comfort and health awareness throughout pregnancy.
